* The Transport Section of Pondicherry University offers transport facilities (buses and vans), for the faculty and staff to commute from Puducherry town and its
outskirts such as Ariyankuppam and Villianur to the main campus.
* For Students 2 buses and 2 vans are operated for the students commute (inside the main campus)
* A full-fledged 24 hours air-conditioned ambulance is operated for the students and staff and is available in the university Health Centre (Phone No. 2254269)
* University approved taxi operators, are appointed for providing vehicles for staff at approved rates for various outstation officials trips.
