Dr. A. Karthigeyan joined the Department of Management Studies at Pondicherry University in 2023. Prior to this, he served as a faculty member at an engineering college affiliated with Pondicherry University and also worked as a Guest Faculty in the Department of Banking Technology at the same university. His professional experience extends beyond academia, having also worked with various banks and financial institutions. In addition, he contributed to academic research as a Project Associate in an ICSSR-sponsored research project.

Dr. Karthigeyan holds a B.Tech degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and an MBA in Banking Technology, both from Pondicherry University. He earned his Ph.D. in Banking and Finance from the Department of Banking Technology, School of Management, Pondicherry University. He has also qualified the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (TNSET).

Further strengthening his academic and professional credentials, Dr. Karthigeyan has completed the Diploma in Banking and Finance (DBF) from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF). He also holds certifications from the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) in Financial Markets, Capital Markets, and Derivatives Markets.

His research and teaching interests include Banking and the Indian Financial System, Risk Management in Banks, as well as Data Science and Big Data Analytics.
