Research Area
B. Rangaiah is a Professor, Department of Applied Psychology, Pondicherry University with
26 years‟ experience as a teacher in higher education institutions. He has been specialized
and working in the areas of cognition, culture, school psychology, statistics and
psychometric. He is a member of many professional bodies, and was a founding member and
treasurer of Indian School Psychology Association. He is a member of board of studies of
many leading universities in India.
He has undertaken research projects from various funding agencies including UGC, ICSSR,
DFG, and DST. So far ten of his PhD scholars and one Post-doctoral scholar have been
awarded with PhD and Post Doctorate and teaching in various higher education institutions.
