Dr.P. Shanthi Bala is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science, School of Engineering and Technology, Pondicherry University, Pondicherry. She received her B.Tech., M.Tech., and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Pondicherry University. She was the top performer in her college and secured the 4th rank atthe university level during her undergraduate studies. She has more than 19 years of teaching experience. Her research interests include Computer Networks, Knowledge Engineering, Information Security and the Internet of Things. She has published more than 90 papers in reputed journals like Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, World Scientific, Emerald, etc. She is the recipient of the Best Teacher Award and has also received the Best Paper Award at an ACM conference.
