Dr. Ritesh Kumar Rai specializes in International Area Studies particularly Theories of International Relations, India’s Foreign Policy, Central Asian Studies and Energy Security. His work has been published in International Journal of Research and Analytical Reviews, Diplomacy & Beyond Plus, and others. He is credited with various chapters in edited volumes both nationally and internationally published. He is awarded with ICSSR doctoral fellowship and Young Achievers of India Pacific Award. He did his post graduation in Politics with specialization in International Relations (Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi) & M. Phil. Ph.D. in Magnolia’s Quest for Energy Security (Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi). He started his teaching academic career from Zakir Hussain Delhi College (University of Delhi), and Jamia Millia University before he joined as a permanent faculty in Pondicherry University. He is currently engaged in various academic activities as Board of Studies (BoS) member in department of colleges and university across India.
