M.Sc. Coastal Disaster Management
The M.Sc., Disaster Management was started in the Department of Ocean Studies and Marine Biology in 2007 and later bifurcated as separate Department of Disaster Management in June 2010 which is located at Port Blair. The Department is being fully supported by UGC. The centre has excellent hostel facilities for M.Sc., students and research scholars. The department makes every effort to achieve academic excellence with world class field training to produce Disaster Managers. Students and scholars from Kashmir to the southern end of India namely Cambell Bay (Nicobar islands) are pursuing their academic studies at Pondicherry University, Port Blair campus.

Eligibility
Course Code 379: M.Sc. (Disaster Management):

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline in Science/B.A Geography/B.C.A/B.E Civil Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks
